Teen Arrested on Spokane's South Hill Following Attempted Robbery and Assault

SPOKANE, Wash. — A teenager has been taken into police custody following an attempted robbery and physical assault on Spokane's South Hill, police officials confirmed.

The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon in the South Hill neighborhood, a generally quiet residential area. According to the Spokane Police Department, a juvenile suspect approached the victim and demanded they hand over personal property. When the victim refused to comply with the suspect's demands, the confrontation turned violent, and the teenager physically assaulted the victim.
