Teen Suspect Arrested Following Stabbing and Attempted Robbery at Boise Business

BOISE, Idaho — A teenage suspect has been taken into police custody following an attempted robbery and stabbing incident at a local Boise business. The incident, which occurred late last year, has now progressed through the legal system with formal felony charges being filed against the juvenile.

According to investigators, the suspect entered the business establishment, demanded money, and subsequently stabbed an employee during the encounter. Responding officers secured the scene and initiated a search, quickly locating and apprehending the suspect nearby. The victim received immediate medical attention for injuries that were determined to be non-life-threatening.

Following an extensive investigation by local detectives, the suspect has been formally charged with felony counts of armed robbery and aggravated assault. Police department representatives emphasized that while the suspect is a minor, the severity of the crimes warrants significant prosecution.
