Teenager Arrested Following Attempted Pharmacy Robberies in Adelanto

ADELANTO, Calif. — A 15-year-old teenager has been arrested and is facing multiple robbery charges after allegedly attempting to rob two pharmacies in Adelanto on the morning of June 18, 2026.

Sheriff's deputies were first dispatched to a Walgreens store in Adelanto following reports of an attempted robbery. Shortly after the first incident was reported, deputies received another call regarding a similar attempted robbery at a nearby CVS pharmacy. In both instances, the suspect attempted to demand pharmacy items or cash but failed to secure any property before fleeing the scene.

Deputies from the Victor Valley Station flooded the area and quickly located a 15-year-old male matching the description of the suspect. The juvenile was detained, identified, and arrested without further incident. He was booked into a juvenile hall on charges of attempted robbery. Fortunately, no store employees or customers were injured during either of the attempted robberies.
