Investigation into property theft in Cullyhanna
According to an article published on 18 February 2026, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is investigating the theft of a trailer and various power tools from a property in the Tullynavall Road area of Cullyhanna, Co. Armagh. Agrilandie reports that the stolen items include an Ifor Williams trailer, a portable welder, a consaw, and a chainsaw.
The incident is believed to have occurred between 5:00pm on Saturday, February 14, and 11:00am on Sunday, February 15. The PSNI has appealed for information from the public, specifically requesting that anyone who noticed unusual activity or possesses relevant dash cam footage contact the police by calling 101 and quoting reference number CC2026021600481.
Separately, the PSNI is investigating the theft of agricultural equipment, including a quad, from the vicinity of the Ballyearl Leisure Centre in Newtownabbey, which occurred on the evening of January 2, 2026. Authorities are seeking information regarding a red-coloured panel van seen in the Ballylinney Road area that evening, referencing number 1349 of 2/1/26.
Ensure all high-value machinery and tools are securely locked away and stored out of sight when not in use.
