Thieves Escape with £20,000 of High-Value Stock in Milton Keynes Jewellers Raid

Police are investigating a high-value theft at a jewellery and watch boutique in Milton Keynes, where thieves managed to escape with merchandise worth more than £20,000. The incident occurred at the Watcho retail outlet located inside one of the city's busy shopping centres.

Targeted Retail Theft

According to police and store representatives, the shop was targeted in a swift operation. The suspects focused on high-value watches and select jewellery pieces on display. The theft was executed quickly, and by the time security was alerted, the perpetrators had already fled the scene and vanished into the surrounding area.

Watcho is well-known locally for its collection of premium timepieces and quality jewellery, making it a prime target for organized retail crime groups. The loss of £20,000 worth of stock has dealt a heavy blow to the business.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Thames Valley Police have launched an appeal, requesting shoppers and business owners who were in the shopping centre at the time to come forward if they noticed any suspicious behavior or individuals acting strangely near the shop. CCTV footage from the shopping centre and nearby streets is currently being reviewed in an attempt to identify the suspects.
