Thieves Steal $100K Worth of Pokémon Cards from NYC Shop 'Poké Court'

In a targeted heist on the collector community, burglars broke into "Poké Court," a specialized trading card shop in New York City, and made off with an estimated $100,000 worth of rare and valuable Pokémon cards.

According to store representatives and police reports, the break-in occurred during the early morning hours. The perpetrators bypassed security measures and selectively targeted high-value display cases and storage units holding some of the shop's most prized inventory, including vintage cards and rare holographic collectibles. The store owners expressed devastation over the loss, highlighting that many of the stolen items are extremely difficult to replace and hold significant historical value within the trading card game community.
