Three Apprehended for Stealing Seized Gambling Machines from Brighton Venue

BRIGHTON, East Sussex — Three men have been arrested after being caught in the act of stealing seized gambling machines from a local establishment known as ‘Joker’s Bingo.’

Officers responded to reports of suspicious activity at the premises, which had recently been subject to law enforcement actions. Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered the suspects attempting to load the heavy gaming machines into a vehicle.

All three suspects were detained at the scene and have been charged with burglary, grand theft, and tampering with evidence. The seized machines, which are part of an ongoing investigation, were recovered intact.

“This was a brazen attempt to disrupt an active investigation and steal secured property,” a police spokesperson stated. The suspects are scheduled to appear in court later this month.
