Three Arrested Following Armed Robbery and Shootout Outside Miramar Flanigan's

MIRAMAR, Fla. — A woman and two men have been taken into custody following a chaotic armed robbery and subsequent shootout in the parking lot of a Flanigan's restaurant in Miramar, police confirmed.

Terrifying Shootout in Restaurant Parking Lot

The violence erupted outside the popular dining establishment on the evening of July 30, 2024. According to investigators, the suspects targeted victims in the parking lot in an attempted armed robbery. The situation escalated rapidly when gunfire was exchanged between the suspects and another party, sending restaurant patrons and bystanders scrambling for cover.

Witnesses described a scene of panic as multiple gunshots rang out near the entrance of the restaurant. Miramar Police officers arrived quickly, securing the area and launching a search for the suspects who had fled the scene in a getaway vehicle. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported among the restaurant's patrons or staff during the shootout.

Rapid Arrests and Criminal Charges

Through swift coordination and the use of license plate readers, police tracked the getaway vehicle and apprehended three suspects: one woman and two men. All three face multiple felony charges, including armed robbery, attempted murder, and conspiracy. Miramar Police credited the quick response of officers and witness cooperation for the rapid resolution of the case.
