Three Arrested Following Liquor Store Break-In on Bay Street in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Three suspects are in custody following a break-in at a local liquor store on Bay Street early Monday morning, according to the Rochester Police Department.

Officers responded to a call reporting a burglary in progress at a commercial property located on Bay Street. Upon arrival, police observed signs of forced entry and quickly set up a perimeter around the area. Thanks to rapid response times and assistance from community members who reported suspicious activity, officers managed to locate and apprehend three individuals fleeing the vicinity.

Authorities confirmed that some of the stolen merchandise was successfully recovered at the scene and will be returned to the business owner. The suspects, whose identities have not yet been fully released pending formal charges, are facing multiple counts, including third-degree burglary and grand larceny.
