Three Arrested, One Suspect Shot in Attempted Smash-and-Grab at Germantown Jewelry Store

GERMANTOWN, TN — An attempted daytime heist at a jewelry store in Germantown escalated into violence, resulting in three arrests and one suspect sustaining gunshot wounds. Local authorities responded to the scene following reports of a smash-and-grab attempt at the establishment on December 16, 2024.

According to the Germantown Police Department, a group of individuals entered the jewelry store with the intent of executing a rapid smash-and-grab robbery. During the chaotic incident, gunfire was exchanged or discharged, leaving one of the suspected perpetrators injured from a gunshot. Emergency medical services were called to treat the wounded suspect, who was subsequently taken into custody.

Following a swift investigation and pursuit, police successfully apprehended two additional suspects connected to the attempted robbery.
