Three men arrested following Ripponden store burglary

Police arrest three suspects after Ripponden break-in

According to an article published on 14 April 2026 by the Halifaxcourier, three men have been arrested following a burglary at a village store in Ripponden. Police were alerted to the break-in at the Co-Op on Oldham Road at 2.30am on 13 April.

The Halifaxcourier reports that suspects fled the scene in a van heading toward Sowerby Bridge. Officers successfully intercepted the vehicle in Halifax using a stinger device. Although the occupants attempted to flee on foot, police conducted a search of the area and arrested three men, aged between 31 and 39, on suspicion of burglary. The individuals have since been released on bail while further enquiries are conducted, and the van has been recovered for forensic testing.
