Tragic San Diego Home Invasion Robbery Leaves 38-Year-Old Woman Dead

A visiting 38-year-old woman has lost her life after being shot during a violent home invasion robbery in San Diego. The San Diego Police Department is currently investigating the homicide, which occurred on July 16, 2024, at a local residence where the victim was visiting a male acquaintance.

According to police statements, armed suspects forced entry into the residence with the intent to commit robbery. During the course of the intrusion, gunfire was exchanged or directed at the occupants, resulting in fatal injuries to the female victim. Emergency responders arrived at the scene but were unable to save her, and she was pronounced dead shortly after.

Detectives from the SDPD Homicide Unit are actively seeking information on the suspects, who fled the scene immediately following the shooting.
