TV and Bedding Worth Thousands Stolen in Burglary at Salford Rental Property

An investigation is underway in Salford after a rented residential property was targeted in a high-value burglary early this year, leaving the landlord facing thousands of pounds in losses.

According to Greater Manchester Police, the incident occurred at a property on Kempster Gardens on 24 January 2026. It is believed that four individuals—two men and two women—had been renting the premises at the time. A number of items were subsequently reported stolen, including household bedding and a high-end television set, with a combined value estimated in the thousands of pounds.

Detectives have released CCTV images of the four people in the hope that members of the public can help identify them. Investigators believe these individuals may hold key information that could assist with their ongoing inquiries into the theft.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police stated: "Officers in Salford have released photos of four people they believe can help them with their enquiries after a burglary in Salford. It is believed four people – two men and two women – were renting the property on Kempster Gardens on 24 January this year."
