Two Arrested After Armed Robbery of BuzzBallz Drinks from Kennewick Store

KENNEWICK, WA — Two individuals are in custody after an armed robbery at a local Kennewick convenience store, where the stolen items amounted to just $36 worth of BuzzBallz alcoholic beverages. The robbery occurred on the afternoon of December 23, 2025, and quickly escalated from a simple shoplifting incident into a felony prosecution.

According to the Kennewick Police Department, the suspects entered the retail store and gathered several BuzzBallz mixed drink containers. When confronted by store employees, one of the suspects brandished a weapon, threatening the staff before the pair fled the premises with the low-value merchandise. The display of a weapon legally elevated the crime to an armed robbery.

Responding officers flooded the area and located the suspects matching descriptions provided by witnesses. Both individuals were arrested without further incident and booked into the Benton County Jail on charges of first-degree robbery. Police emphasized that the value of the stolen goods does not diminish the severity of the offense when a weapon is used to threaten community members.
