Two Businesses Burglarized in Carbondale

On March 13, 2026, Carbondale police are investigating two business burglaries that occurred in the town. The first burglary took place at a business located at 123 Main Street, while the second occurred at a business on 456 Elm Street. The suspects broke into the businesses through the front doors, which were forced open.

In the first burglary, the suspects stole approximately $5,000 in cash and electronics valued at $3,000. In the second burglary, the suspects made off with $2,000 in cash and electronics worth $1,500. The total value of the stolen items is $11,500. No injuries were reported in either incident. Three juveniles and one man were arrested in connection with the burglaries. The man, a 25-year-old Carbondale resident, was taken into custody after a brief chase. The juveniles, aged 16, 17, and 18, were apprehended without incident. Police are appealing to the public for any additional information that could aid in their investigation.
