Two Charged in Violent West Hartford Liquor Store Robbery After Year-Long Investigation
WEST HARTFORD, CT — A lengthy and detailed investigation into a violent armed robbery at a West Hartford liquor store has culminated in the arrests of two male suspects. The incident occurred on Monday, January 29, 2024, but police successfully charged the suspects nearly a year later, in January 2025.
According to police and court documents, the robbery occurred when two suspects entered the package store, brandished a firearm, and confronted the store employee. During the encounter, the suspects assaulted the clerk and sprayed them with pepper spray before stealing cash and fleeing the premises.
