Residential burglary results in injuries near Sheffield

According to Sheffieldtelegraph, two people were injured by fleeing suspects during a burglary at a private home near Sheffield on 25 June 2026. South Yorkshire Police were called to the scene at 9:22 p.m. following reports of the break-in.

Police stated that three men gained entry to the premises and stole multiple items. Upon exiting the property, the suspects assaulted two members of the public. The victims sustained injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering. An ambulance was dispatched to the location to provide medical assistance.
