Two Men Charged in Theft of Valuable Nike Shoe Collection from Beaverton Storage Facility

BEAVERTON, Ore. — Two men are facing felony charges after allegedly stealing a highly valuable collection of Nike shoes from a storage facility in Beaverton, police announced.

The incident came to light after the owner of the storage unit discovered that their collection of rare and high-value Nike sneakers had been stolen. Following a police investigation, officers identified two suspects believed to be responsible for the break-in and theft at the storage facility.

Nike shoes, particularly limited editions and vintage models, have become major targets for thieves due to their high resale value on secondary markets. Authorities recovered some of the stolen footwear during the investigation. Both suspects have been taken into custody and face charges of burglary and major theft. Police are continuing to investigate whether the suspects are linked to other recent storage unit break-ins in the Portland metro area.
