Two St. Louis-area businesses targeted in weekend break-ins

Two businesses in St. Louis, Missouri, were targeted in separate break-ins over the weekend. On Saturday, August 13, a suspect broke into a business on the 5000 block of Natural Bridge Road, stealing a safe containing an estimated $20,000 in cash and jewelry. The suspect was later arrested and charged with burglary. On Sunday, August 14, another business on the 8000 block of Gravois Road was broken into. The suspect gained entry through a rear window and stole an estimated $10,000 in cash and electronics. The suspect in this case remains at large, and police are appealing for information to help with the investigation.

In both incidents, the businesses were closed at the time of the break-ins, and there were no reported injuries. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating both cases and has asked the public to come forward with any information that could aid in the apprehension of the second suspect.
