Two Suspects Arrested After Stealing $20,000 in Lululemon Merchandise from South Coast Plaza

COSTA MESA, CA — Two individuals were arrested on Wednesday after allegedly stealing approximately $20,000 in merchandise from the Lululemon store located inside South Coast Plaza, according to the Costa Mesa Police Department.

The incident unfolded during the afternoon when store security noticed suspects grabbing large quantities of high-end athletic apparel and exiting without attempting to pay. The suspects then fled the upscale shopping mall, initiating a swift response from local law enforcement officers patrolling the area.

Both individuals were located nearby and taken into custody without further incident. The stolen merchandise, valued at around $20,000, was successfully recovered and returned to the retailer. The suspects face multiple felony charges, including grand theft and organized retail crime.
