Two Suspects Arrested Following Burglary at West Hartford Wine Shop
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Two individuals have been arrested and charged following a late-night burglary at a local wine merchant in West Hartford. The incident, which triggered a security alarm, occurred on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
According to the West Hartford Police Department, officers responded to the business after an alarm was triggered. Upon arrival, officers found a shattered glass door and clear signs of forced entry. A search of the store revealed that several high-value bottles of wine had been targeted and stolen.
Using security camera footage and vehicle descriptions from the scene, responding officers located the suspects' vehicle traveling nearby. Police conducted a traffic stop, recovered all stolen inventory, and took the two occupants into custody. Both suspects face charges of third-degree burglary, larceny, and conspiracy, and are currently being processed by authorities.
