Two Teenagers Apprehended After Break-In and Theft at Salina Retail Store

SALINA, Kansas — Two teenagers are in custody following a commercial burglary in Salina late Wednesday evening, where the pair allegedly broke into a local retail establishment to steal vaping products.

According to the Salina Police Department, officers responded to an alarm at a business on July 9, 2025. Upon arrival, officers observed evidence of forced entry through a window. A quick search of the store revealed that several display cases had been breached, with a quantity of vape pens and related products missing.

Responding units immediately began searching the surrounding area for the suspects. Shortly thereafter, officers located and detained two juveniles matching descriptions provided by witnesses and security footage. The stolen merchandise was successfully recovered from the suspects and returned to the business owner.

The two teenagers have been booked on charges of commercial burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property. The names of the suspects are being withheld due to their minor status, and the investigation remains ongoing.
