Two Teenagers Arrested After Violent Robbery and Assault Near East Boston Gas Station

EAST BOSTON, MA — Two teenage girls have been taken into custody by the Boston Police Department following a violent robbery and assault outside a gas station in East Boston, authorities confirmed.

According to police reports, officers responded to a distress call reporting an ongoing physical altercation and theft near an East Boston service station. Upon arrival, responding officers gathered physical descriptions of the suspects, who had allegedly targeted and assaulted a woman before forcibly taking her belongings. Following a brief search of the immediate area, officers successfully located and detained two female juveniles matching the victim's descriptions.

Both suspects are facing charges of unarmed robbery as well as assault and battery. Due to their status as minors, the Boston Police Department has not released their names or exact ages.
