Burglary investigation in Sutton
According to an article published on 29 May 2026 by Mylondon, the Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation following a burglary at a private home in Sutton. The incident occurred on Thursday, April 23, between 5pm and 9pm at a property on Willis Avenue.
Mylondon reports that a significant collection of gold jewellery was taken during the break-in. Stolen items include an orchid-shaped necklace, a farohar pendant, several gold bangles, two gold ringsโone featuring a central rubyโa gold band, and a gold chain. Police have secured CCTV footage showing a silver BMW fleeing the area following the event.
Detective Constable Lee Simpson, who is leading the investigation, has appealed for anyone who recognises the stolen pieces or has information regarding their whereabouts to come forward.
