Vehicle Used to Ram Through South Nashville Video Game Store in Smash-and-Grab Burglary

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — A South Nashville video game store suffered severe damage after a thief used a vehicle to crash through the storefront during an early morning smash-and-grab burglary.

According to investigators, the suspect intentionally rammed a vehicle into the front entrance of the retail shop, completely shattering the glass facade and compromising the building's structural entryway. Once inside, the perpetrator quickly targeted high-value gaming merchandise, including consoles and accessories, before returning to the vehicle and speeding away from the scene.

Metro Nashville Police responded to the commercial alarm and found the storefront heavily damaged. Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the store and surrounding businesses in an effort to identify the vehicle and the suspect.
