Victim Pistol-Whipped and Robbed of Watch Outside Northeast Fresno Restaurant

FRESNO, California — Police are searching for three suspects involved in a violent armed robbery and assault in the parking lot of a Northeast Fresno business complex that houses the popular restaurant Saizon.

The incident took place at approximately 9:37 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2026, near the intersection of North Willow Avenue and East Shepherd Avenue. According to reports from the Fresno Police Department, a male victim was approached in the parking lot by two suspects who assaulted him and demanded his valuables.

Pistol-Whipped in Parking Lot

During the struggle, one of the suspects pistol-whipped the victim, inflicting head and upper body injuries. The assailants forcibly took the victim's watch. When several bystanders and restaurant patrons noticed the altercation and tried to intervene, the suspects turned and pointed their firearms at the witnesses, keeping them at bay.

Suspects Flee in Getaway Vehicle

The two suspects then fled to a waiting black Honda Accord driven by a third accomplice. The vehicle sped away from the complex before police arrived. The injured victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was treated and listed in stable condition. Detectives have released surveillance images of the suspects and are appealing to the public for any information regarding the identity of the robbers.
