Violence and Burglary Series Strike Salem Gas Stations; Arrest Made

SALEM, Oregon — Local gas stations in the Salem area have seen a surge in criminal activity, ranging from violent physical altercations to persistent burglaries, prompting intensive investigations by the Salem Police Department.

In one severe incident, emergency services responded to a gas station where a confrontation resulted in one individual being shot in the head and another hit with a shovel. Both victims received medical attention, and police immediately launched a search for the perpetrators involved in the altercation.

Additionally, police have successfully apprehended a Salem man responsible for a series of three separate burglaries targeting a 76 gas station.
