West Haven Man Charged with Stealing $23,000 from Norwalk Storage Facility

NORWALK, CT — A West Haven man faces felony charges after Norwalk detectives linked him to a string of storage unit burglaries resulting in the theft of approximately $23,000 in personal property.

Following a multi-week investigation, Norwalk police secured an arrest warrant for the suspect. The investigation began when multiple victims reported high-value items, including electronics, tools, and collectibles, missing from their rented storage compartments. Forensic evidence and security footage eventually pointed to the suspect's involvement.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident and charged with third-degree burglary, conspiracy, and larceny in the first degree. Authorities managed to recover a portion of the stolen items during the arrest. He is being held on a court-ordered bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court later this month.
