West Yorkshire Police appeal for public help after series of burglaries in Bradford's Holme Wood

BRADFORD, West Yorkshire — West Yorkshire Police have launched a public appeal, releasing CCTV images of a group of five masked individuals riding motorbikes, in connection with an ongoing investigation into a recent spate of burglaries in the Holme Wood area of Bradford.

The burglaries, which occurred over the course of a week, have sparked significant concern among local residents. The released images depict five suspects dressed in dark jackets, jeans, and balaclavas, traveling on two separate motorbikes through residential streets.

One Suspect Arrested as Patrols Increase

Detectives investigating the break-ins confirmed that one person has already been arrested in connection with the incidents. However, officers are urging anyone who recognizes the individuals in the CCTV photos or who saw them in the Holme Wood area to come forward immediately to assist with ongoing inquiries.

Detective Inspector Andrew Queen of West Yorkshire Police addressed the community's anxieties, stating: "We're aware of the concerns from local residents about burglaries in the area – burglary can be extremely distressing and we take all reports seriously." In response to these concerns, local neighborhood policing teams have increased patrols in Holme Wood to provide reassurance to the public.
