Wichita Police Seek Public Assistance in Old Town Attempted Robbery Investigation

WICHITA, Kansas — The Wichita Police Department, in partnership with Crime Stoppers, has released information regarding an attempted robbery in Old Town and is calling on the public to help identify two male suspects involved in the incident.

According to police reports, the attempted robbery took place in the popular Old Town entertainment district. The victim was approached by two men who demanded personal belongings. Fortunately, the attempt was unsuccessful, and the suspects fled the area shortly after the confrontation. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance footage from cameras in the vicinity of the crime. Police have released descriptions of the two individuals and are urging anyone who was in the Old Town area around the time of the incident, or who has information about the suspects, to come forward. Information can be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers, and tips that lead to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
