Wig-Wearing Suspect Attempts Easter Sunday Robbery at Charlotte 7-Eleven

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who wore an unusual disguise during an attempted armed robbery at a local 7-Eleven convenience store on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025.

According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the suspect entered the store wearing a wig and a mask to conceal their identity. The individual brandished a weapon and demanded cash from the store clerk. Despite the threat, the robbery attempt failed, and the suspect fled the premises empty-handed.
