Wilmington Police Investigate Daylight Bank Robbery

WILMINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA — The Wilmington Police Department is actively investigating a bank robbery that occurred on April 10, 2025. Officers responded to a distress call from a local banking branch after an individual entered the premises and demanded money.

According to preliminary police reports, the suspect displayed a weapon before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported among bank employees or customers during the encounter. Investigators are currently reviewing security footage and collecting forensic evidence to identify the suspect.
