Young Man Robbed of E-Bike by Knife-Wielding Gang on Country Lane Near Wigan

A young man has been subjected to a terrifying ordeal after being robbed of his e-bike at knifepoint by a gang on a country lane near Wigan. The victim was traveling along the rural path when he was confronted by several individuals brandishing knives.

The suspects threatened the young cyclist and demanded he hand over the high-value electric bicycle. Shaken but physically unharmed, the victim complied with their demands, and the gang subsequently fled the scene with the stolen e-bike.

Greater Manchester Police are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the vicinity of the country lane or who have noticed any suspicious individuals or vehicles in the area. Officers are also advising local cyclists to remain vigilant when traveling on isolated routes.
