Police Search for Suspect Following Violent Aurora Home Invasion

AURORA, ON — York Regional Police are currently searching for a suspect linked to a violent residential break-in and home invasion in Aurora, Ontario, which occurred on May 5, 2025.

According to police reports, the suspect forced entry into a residential dwelling, resulting in a violent confrontation. During the course of the incident, two occupants of the home sustained serious injuries. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, and both victims were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Investigators are appealing to the public for any assistance, including security camera or dashcam footage from the surrounding neighborhood around the time of the incident. A manhunt remains underway as police work to identify and locate the individual responsible for this violent offense.
