Police Continue Investigation Into Violent Aurora Home Invasion From New Year's Day 2025

AURORA, ON — York Regional Police are continuing their intensive investigation into a violent home invasion that took place on New Year's Day, January 1, 2025, in Aurora, Ontario. Investigators are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect responsible.

The initial incident involved a suspect who gained unauthorized entry into an Aurora residence and assaulted the occupants. Since the break-in, detectives have been actively working on the case. In an effort to generate new leads, police have released updated surveillance photographs of the suspect.
