Houston RCMP Arrest Three Following New Year’s Day Home Invasion and RV Arson

HOUSTON, British Columbia — The Houston detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has announced the arrest of three individuals following a violent home invasion and subsequent arson that occurred on New Year's Day, January 1, 2025.

According to police reports, officers responded to a call on Baggerman Crescent where a group of suspects had forced their way into a local residence. The home invasion quickly escalated, resulting in the deliberate setting of a fire that completely destroyed a recreational vehicle (RV) parked at the property. The incident caused significant property damage and elevated community safety concerns in the residential area.

Following a detailed investigation, the RCMP successfully identified and apprehended three suspects believed to be responsible for the attack and the subsequent arson. Investigators are continuing to examine the motives behind the incident and are requesting that anyone with security camera footage or additional information regarding the events of that morning contact the Houston RCMP detachment.
