Armed Home Invasion and Theft on Riverside Drive, Macon

On October 2, 2023, a man was arrested for an armed home invasion on Riverside Drive in Macon, Georgia. The incident occurred when the suspect, armed with a handgun, entered a residence and demanded jewelry and a vehicle from the homeowner. The suspect fled the scene in a stolen vehicle, valued at $20,000, and with jewelry worth $10,000.

The homeowner was unharmed during the incident. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office (BSO) responded to the scene and launched an investigation. The suspect was apprehended later that day.
