Armed Robberies at Shoe Show and BP Station in Durham

Durham police have arrested a man in connection with armed robberies at the Shoe Show and a BP Station. The incidents occurred on the same day, with the first robbery taking place at the Shoe Show on North Roxboro Street and the second at the BP Station on South Roxboro Street.

During the robberies, the suspect, armed with a handgun, demanded cash and merchandise. At the Shoe Show, he made off with an estimated $5,000 in cash and $3,000 worth of merchandise. At the BP Station, he stole approximately $2,000 in cash. No injuries were reported in either incident. The suspect escaped in a vehicle and was later apprehended by police.
