Armed Robberies at Two Morley Newsagents

A masked thief armed with a knife targeted two newsagents in Morley, West Yorkshire, in a five-minute robbery spree on Monday, September 25. The first robbery occurred at around 8:30 p.m. at a newsagent on Queen Street. The thief, wearing a black hoodie and a black mask, entered the store and demanded cash from the till, making off with £600. The thief then moved to a second newsagent on the same street, where he stole £400 in cash and a quantity of cigarettes, valued at £200, before fleeing the scene.

The thief was last seen heading towards the town centre. No arrests have been made, and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police. No injuries were reported in the incidents.
