Burglary in Skipton Leads to Arrest and Police Appeal for Witnesses

Police in Skipton have made an arrest in connection with a burglary that occurred on the evening of 27th October. The incident took place at a property on Garforth Avenue, where unknown individuals gained entry by forcing a rear door. The suspects made off with a significant amount of cash and jewelry, estimated to be worth around £10,000.

In a statement, Craven Police confirmed the arrest of a 30-year-old man from Skipton in relation to the burglary. The man was apprehended on the evening of 27th October, shortly after the incident. The police are now appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to come forward. They are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the Garforth Avenue area around the time of the burglary. No injuries were reported in the incident.
