Armed Robbery and Suspect Arrest in Shady Cove

On October 2, 2023, an armed robbery occurred at a business located at 123 Main Street in Shady Cove, Oregon. The suspect, identified as a Wisconsin man, entered the business and demanded cash from the register. The suspect was armed with a handgun and managed to steal approximately $5,000 in cash before fleeing the scene.

Following the robbery, sheriff's deputies responded to the scene and initiated a search for the suspect. A brief standoff ensued when the suspect was located, but he was eventually apprehended without any injuries reported. The suspect was taken into custody and later jailed.
