Armed robbery reported at Leigh retail store

According to an article published by Leighjournal on 5 February 2024, police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a retail store on Bradshawgate, Leigh. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Saturday, 3 February.

Leighjournal reports that four men brandishing weapons entered the premises and stole a number of high-value items. The suspects caused a significant amount of criminal damage to the store before fleeing the scene in a black Audi. While the event was described as a frightening ordeal for store workers and witnesses, police confirmed that no injuries were reported.
