Armed Robbery at Dollar Tree in Wilkes-Barre

On October 25, 2023, an armed robbery occurred at the Dollar Tree store located at 1000 North River Street in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The suspect, identified as a 28-year-old Wilkes-Barre man, entered the store and demanded cash from the register. The suspect was armed with a knife and threatened the store clerk, who complied with the demands. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was later apprehended by police and charged with armed robbery, criminal trespass, and terroristic threats. No injuries were reported during the incident.
