Armed Robbery at Duluth Ace Hardware Leads to Arrest

On June 21, 2023, an armed robbery occurred at the Duluth Ace Hardware store located at 2300 Miller Trunk Highway in Duluth, Minnesota. The suspect, later identified as a 30-year-old man, entered the store and demanded cash from the register. The suspect was armed with a handgun and threatened the store employees, who complied with his demands. The suspect escaped with an estimated $5,000 in cash and $2,000 in merchandise. No injuries were reported during the incident.
