Armed Robbery at East Toledo Store Leaves Clerk Injured, Police Seek Suspects

On the evening of October 1, 2023, a store in east Toledo was the target of an armed robbery. Two suspects entered the store, located at 1234 Maple Street, and held the clerk at gunpoint. The suspects demanded and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The clerk was injured during the incident but was able to call 911 after the suspects fled the scene.

The Toledo Police Department (TPD) is actively searching for the two suspects, who are described as wearing dark clothing and masks. Surveillance footage captured the incident, and police have released images in an effort to identify the suspects.
