Armed Robbery at Raleigh Walgreens and PNC Bank

On the evening of October 1, 2023, two separate armed robberies occurred in Raleigh, North Carolina. The first incident took place at a Walgreens located at 2001 New Bern Ave. At approximately 7:30 PM, an armed suspect entered the store, demanded cash from the register, and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported, and the suspect's escape route and method remain unknown.

The second incident occurred at the PNC Bank located at 1000 Glenwood Ave. Around 8:00 PM, an armed suspect entered the bank, threatened the staff, and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect's escape route and method remain unknown. No injuries were reported in this incident either. The Raleigh Police Department is investigating both robberies and has not made any arrests as of now. They are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspects.
