Smash-and-Grab Robbery at Stratford Jewellery Store

On the evening of October 13, a jewellery store located at 123 Main Street in Stratford, Connecticut, was targeted by a group of smash-and-grab robbers. The robbers, armed with hammers, smashed the store's display cases and made off with an estimated $50,000 worth of jewellery. The incident occurred around 9:30 PM, with the robbers fleeing the scene in a waiting getaway car.

The robbers, who were wearing masks and gloves, escaped in a dark-colored sedan. Police have not yet made any arrests but have appealed to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and capture of the suspects. The store's security cameras captured footage of the incident, which is being reviewed by investigators. No injuries were reported during the robbery.
