Armed Robbery in Haleiwa Leaves Employee Injured, Police Seek Suspect

Police in Haleiwa are searching for a suspect after an armed robbery at a business in the town on the North Shore of Oahu. The incident occurred on the evening of August 15, 2023, at a local business on Kamehameha Highway. The suspect entered the business armed with a firearm and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect fled the scene on foot, heading towards the direction of the Haleiwa Beach Park.

The robbery resulted in an employee being injured. The employee was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, and their condition is reported to be stable. The exact nature of the injuries has not been disclosed. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
