Ayr Shopkeeper Devastated After Brazen £25,000 Raid on Tobacco and Vapes

A business owner in Ayr has been left devastated and in tears following a targeted, high-value commercial break-in where stock valued at £25,000 was stolen.

The incident occurred at a local retail premises in the South Ayrshire town. Intruders managed to breach the security of the property before making off with a large quantity of vapes, cigarettes, and tobacco products. The owner discovered the break-in the following morning and was described as being completely overwhelmed and in tears due to the severe financial and emotional impact on their livelihood.

Police Scotland have launched a full investigation into the theft. Officers are appealing to the public for information, particularly if anyone witnessed suspicious activity or vehicles near local shops during the night, or if they have been offered cheap tobacco or vaping products for sale in the area.
