Bank Robbery in Dearborn Heights Leads to Arrest of Suspect

On October 1, 2023, a bank robbery occurred at the Chemical Bank located at 26400 W Warren Ave, Dearborn Heights, Michigan. The suspect, later identified as a 37-year-old male, entered the bank wearing a disguise and demanded cash from the teller. The suspect escaped with an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot.

Police were alerted to the robbery and began a search for the suspect. The suspect was later found at a nearby Tim Hortons, still wearing his disguise. He was apprehended without incident. No injuries were reported during the robbery or the arrest. The police are appealing to the public for any additional information that could assist in their investigation.
